Congratulations to our most recent A-Hole of the Week, Alicia Goemaat!
Alicia Goemaat, 20, from Seattle, Washington has been charged with second-degree murder for kicking a 17-month-old boy to death on September 27.
Goemaat was watching Drue Lehto, her boyfriend’s son, while Derek Lehto, her boyfriend, ran errands.
Goemaat has a two-year-old son of her own. She became angry when her son and Drue started fighting over a toy. Alicia kicked Drue in the stomach, knocking him to the ground and kicked him once more before putting him in his playpen. Drue was later found unresponsive.
When Derek arrived home after running errands, he tried to perform CPR on Drue.
An autopsy found that Drue died of abdominal trauma and internal bleeding.
Goemaat denied knowing anything about the incident until days later on October 1.
Goemaat and Lehto had been dating for about four months. Lehto had never seen any violent behavior from Goemaat leading up to the tradegy and was amazed she was capable of the crime.
Geomaat remains in King Country Correctional Facility on $1 million bail.
