Fantasy Football: The Secret To Legalized Gambling

http://thethrillsociety.com is your link to Thrilling Stuff! This article is just a taste!

If you are like me and don’t want to get drunk intentionally during Sunday football, I have a game for you. Take a drink every time you see a Fan Duel or Draft Kings commercial advertising the next big winner could be YOU!!!! By the end of next Sunday you will A.) Swear off drinking for the rest of your life B.) Call in sick to work at 4:00pm on Sunday or C.) Sign up for one of the sites, enter in a weeks’ worth of pay and be divorced by the following Sunday. In other words, nothing good really will come of this game, but you can say to yourself, ” I didn’t intentionally get drunk, it just happen because of the commercials.”
I cannot remember when I saw such a blatant in your face push of gambling. I mean Vegas doesn’t even push gambling that much. The commercials were almost running one after another. It got to a point that I didn’t even know who was who. I truly believe right now that you could go to either site, sign up and enter the promo code “poop,” it would double your deposit. All in the name of fantasy football which is somehow not gambling. The Thrill Of Sports
So you are saying that I put money down, pick my team and compete against other people in games ranging from $1 to $1000 (maybe more, but I am too afraid to even look, being the degenerate gambler that I am) in a winner take all at the end of the games each week and that is not gambling? This is ok to promote as not gambling? So, if I want to bet $100 on the Chiefs beating the Broncos on Thursday night, that is illegal except in three states. However, picking players from the teams is ok in any state? What am I missing here?

The two fantasy leagues that I am in both require money to be paid out at the end of each season and I am trying my luck at starting and benching players week in and week out to win. That sounds like gambling to me. If there is money exchanged with a chance of losing it by luck and not by your action, then I would say it is gambling.
They don’t even hide behind the option that this is not a gambling site and you can play for free like the old poker site commercials. They are loud and proud to say “Enter you deposit, double your deposit, and win your millions.” And for some reason, the NFL is ok with all this, but won’t support gambling directly per game.
The NFL will waste time, money and resources on deflated balls for the integrity of the game, but it will allow fantasy football gambling’s sites to dominate week 1 commercials. Not to mention the Draft Kings or Fan Duel spot light on ESPN or the push of the Draft Kings or Fan Duel promo on the NFL network. The integrity of the game just got sold out to promo code “Poop” and nobody even is batting an eyelash. Oh well, at least I will be drunk during  afternoon and evenings games.
One gambling tip I forgot to share. Usually a safe bet is betting against any West Coast team playing an East Coast team in the early time slot, especially college. Those poor West Coast teams just can’t get up for a noon game East Coast time. Easy money and you can tip me when you win big. Man, I am glad football is back.

What a weekend…. I had my 1st Feature Dance Booking in my city of Vegas on Saturday night at the World Famous Sapphire. Saying that club is huge is an understatement… it is the world’s largest Strip club so needless to say I was very nervous, but I always get nervous! Hahaha!
Before my dance gig I managed to get in a great workout, some laundry, take Icon on a walk and of course follow the NFL Draft. Thursday of course is the best day and seeing all the 1st round picks but I’m such a fan and enjoy watching it that it was a 3 day event for me. I can’t imagine how those young kids must feel getting drafted to an NFL team and fulfill their dreams, I also like to scout out the new Giants players. I was very harsh on our 1st round pick Eli Apple from Ohio… he tweeted some stupid things about the Giants back in 2012 and I made sure I posted those screen shots. I don’t hold back…EVER!!! All around I graded the Giants a B- on the Draft… I think Jerry Reese hit it out the park when we picked up Sterling Shepard the wide receiver from Oklahoma. He reminds me of a Wes Welker who can run any pattern asked with precision. I’m looking forward to seeing him in action, I think he will be Cruz’s backup in case we don’t see much salsa dancing in the end zone this season. I also liked our 4th round pick B.J. Goodson the linebacker from Clemson. I see him making a HUGE impact on our defense especially coming from working with Dan Brooks during his college career. My xance booking was Ah-Mazing!!!! My guest list was out of control and I had a ton of friends come to show support, My agent even emailed me to tell me that I was in the top 3 biggest attendances the club has had during a Feature Weekend, which basically guarantees me a re-booking. I was booked during the NFL Draft weekend because it’s pretty much a known fact that I’m a HUGE Football freak and the unofficial Ny Giants cheerleader so it was only appropriate for me to do my cheerleader show. After my show was over I joined my friends and popped a bottle of Patron and toasted to a kick ass weekend….My friends had a running head start on their drinking game, I was waaaay behind but couldn’t get too carried away, I am booked there to represent Sapphire and bottom line…. I’m a business woman and this is how I feed myself. After doing photos with fans and hanging out by 2am I was beat!!! My friends decided to stay and polish off the rest of the Patron and ended up staying at Sapphire till 7am! Haha! The next Day I was booked to host Sapphire Day pool, I LOVE LOVE LOVE pool parties. getting paid to hang in a bikini in the sun all day sounds like a great day to me :) Once my hosting duties were done I headed home… All I could think of was cooking on my grill and just being with Icon. I finally learned how to use my grill ( Pause for Laughter) I made grilled shrimp – My Favorite :) Grilled Sweet Corn, and salad. Perfect way to end my weekend :)

Off for my typical routine- G.T.L.- Gym, Tan, Laundry! LOL!

Whew….. what a weekend and I must say I’m glad it’s Monday and can start my new week My little sister flew into Vegas on Friday for her birthday and it was off to the races once she hit ground in Sin City. We hit the gym, went and got spray tanned then got ready for her Birthday Dinner at KOI inside Planet Hollywood then we were off see J-Lo!!! Jennifer Lopez was beyond Amazing and surely didn’t disappoint. She sang, and danced her booty off- Not Literally tho  LOL
After the concert we went out to do some gambling, and more drinking…. My sister was on a roll to get White Girl Wasted!!! When in Vegas you gotta live it up right?!?! We stuck around Planet Hollywood then hit up a local bar by my house on the way home and finally passed out by 3am. Saturday was filled with Sleeping till 11am, Brunch at 1 of my favorite local Spots that makes the best crepes EVER!!!!! Since going Vegan and trying to be calorie conscious my option are very limited… I usually get the Veggie Patch crepe…. Veggies, hummus, and egg whites. My sister got the Carne Asada crepe, loaded with steak, avocado and cheese and of course what brunch wouldn’t be complete without champagne…. Duh!
After brunch I had tickets to the Woman’s UNLV game against Fresno State, I’ve been to a few Men’s games but have always wanted to check out a Lady Rebels game. A few of you may know that I played Basketball in school growing up and have also been invited to play in many charity leagues throughout the years so it is definitely a sport that is close to my heart not to mention I was pretty good when I played ðŸ˜‰ Power Forward baby!!! The Lady Rebels lost 52-57 :( but it was still a great game.
