Heavenly Thoughts By Starri Knight

Please check out: http://TheThrillSociety.com It’s wicked Thrilling!

Hello and welcome to my blog ðŸ™‚

I’ve never done a blog before, but with everything I’m working on right now I thought it might be helpful and fun to connect with my fans in a new way other than pictures and videos.

About Me

My name is Starri Knight and you can follow me on Twitter/Instagram @starriknightmfc. I’m a model, actress, webcam model, and featured dancer. I love performing and the arts. I been performing since I was a little girl. As I got older, I began to feel more comfortable with myself and started bringing out my sexual side, which I’m very comfortable sharing with my fans. I work in mainstream and adult modeling as well as mainstream and adult acting (solo and girl/girl).

Exotic Dancing

I’m now getting ready to start feature dancing. I’m super excited about this cause I’ve always enjoyed dancing on stage in a very sexual and seductive, but graceful manner. I was an exotic dancer for five years before I moved to Las Vegas and started pursuing modeling and acting. I started dancing in Springfield, Illinois at Deja Vu.  After gaining experience as a dancer, the owner of the Hustler Club in Baltimore, Maryland recruited me to open their new club. Later, I switched to a club called The Silver Bullet in Champaign, Illinois. From there I went to Hollywood Show Club in East St. Louis where I completed my last years of dancing.

Dancing For Motley Crue

During my exotic dancing career I made two trips to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to dance.  I was there during bike week on one trip and got asked to go next door where Motley Crue was performing and dance on stage with them, in my thong, to the song Girls, Girls, Girls.  It was fucking awesome and a great story too!

Mainstream Acting and Modeling

You can check out some of the mainstream modeling and acting I’ve done by visiting my portfolio at http://www.modelmayhem.com/699298. I love being creative and expressing myself in many ways.

Adult Film Acting

Now for my adult work. I’ve been to multiple adult conventions like AVN, Internext, and XBIZ. I was Miss Nude Internet of 2008. I have shot for lots of adult websites including; Danni’s Harddrive-Penthouse, Twisty’s, Kink, Brazzers, and many more. I’m in two DVD’s with Hustler (Barely Legal 92 and Hardcore Circus). I’ve also appeared on television channels like; Skinemax, Cinemax,  Playboy T.V., and reality shows Badass and Foursome. All my adult work has been solo and girl/girl. I have not felt the need or urge to do boy/girl.

Webcam Modeling

I also am a webcam model on Streamate:  http://www.streamate.com/cam/StarriKnight/ and own a online store: http://www.cammodelstore.com/starriknightwhich has links listed to my custom video store and Chatstar Network. Chatstar:http://chatstar.com/Starri_Knight is a place my fans can get my cell phone number for free to text, call or trade photos with me 24 hours a day.

Feature Dancing

The new project I am starting is feature dancing. I decided to do this because I miss performing on stage and I’m constantly being asked on webcam shows how can my fans meet me in person. So I thought this would be the best way. I’ll get to perform again and travel across the country meeting all my fans in person. I’m heading soon to Springfield, Illinois, where my exotic dancing career started, to practice, get comfortable, and prepare for an exciting, featured dancing career.  I am super excited!

Why Knee Pads Are The Photographer’s Best Friend

Please check out: http://TheThrillSociety.com It’s wicked Thrilling!

When I am on the hunt for a cool shot I am always thinking about how I can present a look that hasn’t been captured one trillion times! Generally speaking any standing view is what we are used to seeing. For example, how many bloody looking down at a flower shots have you seen? Looking down at flowers is how we normally view them. So if I am going to make a flower shot interesting I have to get creative and present a new perspective. Getting low provides such a perspective. We normally don’t look at flowers from below. So to get below a flower we have to get on our knees. Trust me the ground under a flower is not going to me marshmallowy soft. Nope, its going to be rocky, wet, and/or muddy almost guaranteed.
Photography tips photo
The shot above has the lovely elements of muddy, wet, rocks. I walked away from this shot soaking wet below the knees with salt water! Could this have been avoided? Sure if I would have managed to bring my nice knee pads that were safely dry back in my car!

I normally always have both knee pads and a foam pad in my car just for these occasions. I also normally forget the knee pads and foam pad in my car. Why? Mainly because I am an idiot and either forget my pads until I am too far from the car to return for them or I talk myself out of bringing them because I don’t think I will need them.
Photography tips photo
The photo above was taken with the rare aid of knee pads! The rocks were super rough and I would still have scars if I had forgotten my knee pads on this beautiful morning on the Oregon coast!
Why do I carry both knee pads and a foam pad? Because knee pads are required when a person has to split their legs to get a solid base. I use construction type knee pads. Any type will do. I use the foam pad when I can keep me legs together and when weight is an issue. The foam pad, normally used by gardeners, is both cheap and light weight. I normally clip the foam pad to my belt using a climbing clamp.
Photography tips photo
The photo above is a perfect example for using a foam knee pad. It was quite a hike along the beach near Cairns Australia to find this dead palm. The beach was wet, but level and a photographer could easily keep their knees together to make the shot! But of course I didn’t have my foam pad and got wet sandy legs!
So in my humble opinion knee pads are a photographers’s best friend! Plus my knee pads last a lifetime, because they are always safe and dry back in the car!

Autocross: An Exhilarating and Affordable Motorsport

Please check out: http://TheThrillSociety.com It’s wicked Thrilling!

When the words motor and sports come together, there is this sudden rush of adrenaline that begins surging in the body just like fuel surges inside the engines. Motorsports are usually aggressive in nature and while they require a lot of focus from the driver, the audience on the other hand are viewing the fierce aggression of automobiles as they compete against one another to the finish line. As for Autocross, it is a little more refined with a course which is about a mile long and where emphasis is put on the manner in which the car is being handled and the skills of the driver.
Safety is considered foremost in Autocross and the sport encourages participation of more people. Autocross races are the kind that pack in a lot of activities which is what adds energy to the races. They are inherently slower than other races but the amount of buzz they create is because of the elements which are included in these races.

History

It is difficult to track down a history for Autocross races. They seem to have made their appearance after World War II when the soldiers who returned from the war were trying to look for ways to overcome the dreariness of the war. This made them buy old cars which may have been considered fit for the junkyard and they fixed them up and began racing. They used Autocross events to show off their cars and the ways in which the car can be handled.
The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) was created in 1944 and it began gaining popularity with local time trials. These races initially had the courses set on public roads but they gradually began taking better form and the races moved to concrete parking lots and abandoned airfields where they could race in a more organized manner. The goal of the sport was the same as it is today which is to race against a competitor in a course to achieve the best possible time.
As Autocross gained fame, the SCCA was able to attract more members and by 1958, the club had around 10,000 members. Today, the SCCA has over 114,000 members and it manages over 300 events every year.

Equipment

Autocross is seen as an entry level sport. The requirements are pretty basic for the racers and with safety in mind, some of the equipment that are recommended for an Autocross are:
  • helmet to make sure that you drive safely. While certain events may loan helmets to first timers, it is best to carry one of your own. This ensures that you have a helmet that is comfortable for you and one that fits you well.
  • A good pair of shoes is the next things that you would like to focus, something that offers a good pedal feel will help you maneuver the car more easily and stay comfortable throughout the event.
  • The car numbers are also an important. Every car that participates in an Autocross event must be marked clearly. There are kits that can help you with class letters and magnetic numbers.
  • Harness belts are another equipment which are focused on the safety aspect of the race. While the factory seat belts work perfectly well when you are driving home, the harness belts are created for races. They hold you to the seat in a better way and they help you control the car more effectively.
  • tire gauge is another piece of equipment that can prove very helpful because the right amount of tire pressure can help you get a good grip.
  • racing car seat is also a great way to ensure that you are comfortable while driving the car. Racing car seats are designed to ensure that the driver is seated in the best position to have complete control of the car without being uncomfortable.
  • Race wheels, especially if they are strong and lightweight can make a notable difference in the race.

Cars and Classification

Every sanctioning body has their own set of rules for the car classes. For most of the races, cars are usually lightly modified or not modified at all. SCCA classing is followed by most of the clubs in America. The SCCA classes vary from Street classes which are lightly modified to the SCCA D and E classes which can be completely modified.

Cost

Autocross events have different prices for entry fees but most of the local events are priced between $25 and $60 for entry. This price differs based on the place where the event is held and the cost of operation of the event. National Autocross events can be priced from $100 to $150 for entry. The cost is lower than many other events because at most of the local events, the participants also help out in organizing the event. This helps them save money and reduce the costs of the event.

Events

You can check the events on the SCCA website which also discusses the tracks and where they are being held. You can register for an event online. Some of the events allow you to be registered at the site of the event. Go through the details carefully and register yourself for the event. Getting help is easy. You can ask the participants for help and they will assist you with registration if you are new. Local events are built on friendly races and you will find most of the racers extremely helpful in most of the events that you attend locally.

Conclusion

Autocross is a race between the drivers and time. Inevitably, the clock ends up winning all the time. It is a sport that promotes camaraderie among the racers who end up gathered together after the event talking about the cone that tipped and the race they almost won. All the fierce competition seen in the race simmers down as racers join in the tales of their wins and losses remembering where they started making memories in one of the most thrilling ways.
